The second of four races in the 30th Annual Schooner Wharf Bar Wrecker’s Cup Race Series is set for Sunday, Feb. 22.   This all-in-fun race series recalls the tradition of the wreckers in the Key West of the 1800’s. 

Due to record numbers in the Wreckers’ fleet, racers now compete in seven different classes; Classic, Schooner, Multihull, Monohull over 40 feet, Monohull 30 – 39 feet, Monohull 25-30 feet, Monohull 24 feet and under.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in each division, with trophies, Ceramic Pusser’s Rum flask, Schooner Wharf Bar Tabs and Wrecker tee shirts as prizes.

Three Start Times:  1 p.m. Start – Schooner, Multihull, Classic Division, 1:05 p.m. –  Monohull Over 30’ Division, 1:10 p.m. Start – Monohull  Under 30’ Division.

Captains meeting is held Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7p.m. on the Schooner Wharf’s Upper deck with complimentary Pusser’s Rum Punch and hors d’oeuvres from the Schooner Wharf Galley.

All participating vessels will receive up to four BBQ dinners for captain and crew to enjoy at the Awards Party & Ceremony.  The race is video taped, see yourself under sail on the big screen! Entry fee for each vessel is $30.
