Wesley House Family Services will be hosting “Christmas in July”, this Friday, July 29 from 5pm-9pm at Conch Town Bar, 3340 North Roosevelt Boulevard. This event is the kickoff to a collaborative effort between all Monroe County agencies who support children and families during the holiday season. It is the goal of these agencies to work together in collecting gifts, finding families, and distributing gifts and meals this year as a team to support and meet the needs of families in Monroe County. There will be Christmas karaoke, holiday potluck, photos with Santa’s Elves and possibly a visit from the “Big Guy” himself. Cost of admission is grocery store gift cards, diapers, or cash. Help stock the shelves for the elves!
