Afraid of falling?
Are you afraid of falling or know someone who has problems with balance? If so, HelpLine is setting up a set of free 8 week Matter of Balance classes to start Tuesday, June 16 at the Plantation Key Senior Center, MM88.8, Bayside at the Plantation Key Government complex.
These are evidence based programs and if you, family members or any of your friends are interested and would like to take the course call (305) 853-0907. Additional classes are held at the Key Largo Library meeting room from 1pm to 3pm on Mondays in the Tradewinds Plaza MM101.4 Oceanside.
Reef Relief to host annual meeting

If you’re a sea fan, then you won’t want to miss the 22nd Reef Relief Membership Meeting Wednesday, June 24 from 5 to 8pm at Flagler’s Ballroom at the Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club in Key West. The event begins with a social a 5 pm followed by an interesting program all about coral reefs.
Eyster to present Hurricane Donna
The Matecumbe Historical Trust will host this month’s Lecture & Social at Island Community Church, MM 83 on Monday, June 15 6:30 pm with guest speaker Irving Eyster, Historian & Archeologist giving a slide presentation on one of the worst Hurricanes of the last century, Hurricane Donna.

Welcome to Earth
The Healthy Start Coalition will host childbirth classes in the Upper Keys for women in their last trimester (due between July and September) and their partner. Class includes gentle stretching, so comfortable clothing required. The class is hosted on the 2nd floor of the Tassel Building located on the Mariner’s Hospital complex on July 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
