Cortadito, a traditional Cuban music group, will perform at the Florida Keys Brewing Company, 200 Morada Way, in the arts district in downtown Islamorada on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The event starts at 7 p.m. Expect music from the Golden Age of Cuban music – 1930s to 1960. Known as Cuban Son music, it is traditional Cuban country folk music with its origins in the eastern part of Cuba or Santiago De Cuba. Tickets are $20 at the door, and at eventbright.com for advance purchase. Seating is limited. The show is presented by ICE, a nonprofit which supports local arts scholarships.
