Marathon basketball phenom signs letter of intent
Flanked by his family, coaches and school administration, Marathon High School senior Dwayne Ellis signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Northland Community & Technical College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Ellis a four year varsity letterman, averaged 22.5 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game in his final season at Marathon High School.
“He is definitely up there – talent wise,” said MHS basketball coach Kevin Freeman. “The only thing we are worried about is the cold weather. Playing and school…I am not worried about him.”
