IBERIABANK, a 128-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation, is proud to serve as the title sponsor for the running of the 34th annual 7 Mile Bridge Run. This event, hosted by the Marathon Runners Club, is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2015. The event draws thousands of runners from across the country and raises money for numerous youth programs in the Keys. The bank has served as the title sponsor for this event since inception.

Trich Worthington, IBERIABANK’s senior vice president and retail market manager for the Keys, recently presented Marathon Runners Club co-directors, Ginger Sayer and Bobbie Bayles with a check for $20,000. “It is our pleasure to take part in the 7 Mile Bridge Run once again. In addition to national exposure and tourism revenues, the 7 Mile Bridge Run generates thousands of dollars to support our schools and local athletic programs,” said Worthington. “Giving back is such an important part of our corporate culture and supporting this event is just one more way that we can give back in the Keys.”

IBERIABANK associates will volunteer with an aid station on the 7 Mile Bridge “hump” during the race and provide water and support to runners and volunteers throughout the event.
