Conch Life Scramble
Wesley House Family Services and The Wyland Foundation will be hosting The Conch Life Scramble. This golf tournament on the water consists of nine hole locations around the island of Key West. Tournament players will drive around on their boats to each of the nine holes, and hit a bio-degradable “fish food” golf ball from locations such as, Hurricane Hole, Hogfish Bar & Grill, Key West Harbor Yacht Clubs and Ocean Key House into floating rings in the water.
All participants will be invited to a complimentary Kick-off party at Key West Harbor Yacht Club, a pre tournament breakfast at Hurricane Hole, and a Key West style awards banquet and bar-b-q at Hogfish Bar & Grill. All participants will also receive ditty bags with Conch Life Scramble, t-shirts, and lots of fun items. Winners will receive fantastic prizes, trophies, and bragging rights.

Klimas the Conch
Stella Quinn Klimas entered the world at the Lower Keys Medical Center at 8:02 am on September 16, 2010. The daughter of Chris Klimas and Beth Mee, she tipped the scales at 8lbs 12 ozs.
Crane Point Nuptials
Tamara Lundstrom and Grant Lamarche were married on Sept. 23, 2010 under the old Banyan Tree in Marathon’s Crane Point Hammock. The bride works for Monroe County and the groom is a Wireless Business Communications Consultant and have made Marathon their home.
