Radio Event Supports KAIR
The 2nd Annual KAIRathon all-day radio broadcast on 94.3 from Collector’s Corner on Tuesday raised “a shade over $7,000” for the Middle Keys’ only food bank and resource closet for those in need.

Monroe County Sheriff Bob Peryam was one of dozens to drop in on the gal with the gift for gab, Anne O’Bannon, and chat about business news and community events throughout the day.

Co-organizer Stan Haines said Thursday that money and canned good donations were continuing to roll in even after the event concluded.
