Key West Weekly Editorial: We have a home!

Josie Koler February 6, 2010 0

Just as extended his vision to the southernmost city 100 years ago, Newspapers are spreading into with the establishment of our new digs at 604 Truman Avenue.

We have notified the governor who said he would be down on the very next train and advised us to muster all of the island’s photographers, politicians, and socialites for a tickertape parade that will begin at Truman & Simonton, head down Duval to Greene Street and then up Simonton again.

The celebration will continue into the next week, through Spring Break and should peak around Mini-Season. The hangover could last until Fantasy Fest.

In the meantime, we will still beat the streets, finding all the interesting local news that is fit to print. Our focus will be centered on entertainment, local politics, and community events like this past weekend’s Chef Classic to benefit the MARC House.

Make sure to check out next weekend’s Little Black Book edition just in time for Valentine’s Day.
