Toman & Myers families welcome new bundles
Evan Matthew Toman
On June 9, 2011 Evan Matthew Toman entered the world at Baptist Hospital in Miami at 7:52 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and is the son of Laura and Nick Toman of Marathon. Evan’s mom is a psychologist with the Monroe County School District and his father is a therapist at the Guidance Care Center. His grandparents both live in Delaware, so he will only have to travel 20 minutes during the holidays. Maternal grandparents, Bob and Lucy Knight reside in Newark and paternal grandparents Michael and Michele Montgomery live in Wilmington.
For his first Father’s Day, an exhausted Nick plans to sleep in and then nap throughout the day, “with my little man at my side.”
Tristan Dean Myers
Three days prior to Father’s Day, Synthia Myers made her husband, Britt and new dad when she delivered Tristan Dean at Miami Baptist Hospital.
The young lad arrived at 1:09 am after 17 hours of labor and weighed in at 8 lbs, 6 ounces, measuring 21.5 inches.
His paternal grandparents, Homer and Renee Myers live in Gainesville, Ga. Tristan’s maternal grandmother Noela Letarte lives in Quebec City, Canada, and his paternal grandfather, Josh Clement lives in the Keys.
Tristan will soon join his big brother, Vincent, at their home on Duck Key. 11 hours after his delivery, his sleep-deprived dad said this Sunday he would, “probably just stay in the house with this guy. Right now I am trying to find my father’s day gift – a pacifier.”
