The 17th Annual Master Chef’s Classic® is ready to receive confirmation entries for the January 30, 2011 event.

“It looks like this is going to be a banner year for this event” smiled Gordon Ross, MARC Public Relations Manager. “We’ve already have quite a few restaurants call or email to commit for the competition, and I want to make sure all of the chefs, restaurants and catering businesses in the Keys know we are ready and waiting for them to sign up. All they need to do is either call or email me confirming their participation. They don’t need to have their menus ready for me until Jan. 17. This year each participant will be added to our website, http://www.masterchefs.com, and when they confirm they are participating we will include a link to their restaurant as well, giving them even more exposure for being involved with this fundraiser.”

Tickets sales for Master Chefs began on Nov. 1 through http://www.keystix.com and sales have been brisk.

“I am really pleased to see not only restaurants contacting us early this year, but tickets sales are moving quite nicely as well” stated Ross. “I fully expect to sell out again early this year.”

Entry applications can be downloaded from the Master Chefs website as well or requested from Mr. Ross. Entries are not needed until Jan. 17, but confirmation about entering the competition should be done as soon as possible.
