Joan Higgs, Senior Community Health Nursing Director at the Monroe County Health Department, was presented the Prudential Davis Productivity Award by Health Department Administrator, Robert Eadie. Joan was honored for her planning and implementation of the H1N1 mass vaccination campaign that successfully immunized approximately 18% of the county’s children and adults over a four-month period in 2009. Prudential Davis received hundreds of nominations throughout the state of Florida.
