Anyone that has had the pleasure of catching one of Jeff Clark’s performances knows that his electrifying stage presence and killer tone will keep you captivated.

Jeff grew up in Pennsylvania, in a home where music was appreciated and supported. He began playing piano at age 7 and around the same time, he started singing in his church choir.

Jeff was always involved in music programs at school. At age 13, he began writing his own music and since that time he has been involved in several rock bands.

After high school, Jeff attended Bucknell University to further his music education.

He continued playing in bands all through college including a three-piece piano rock band in the style of Ben Folds Five. By his senior year Jeff was thinking about career opportunities, so he attended several job fairs. He soon realized that the 9 to 5 wasn’t for him.

In 2004, Jeff began traveling and playing music. At the time, he was living out of his van and winter was just around the corner. Jeff checked the weather in a few southern states and noticed that Key West was boasting 78 degrees in the middle of January. He drove straight down to the island, soaked up the sun, and began playing music on the street. After shopping his demo around town he quickly obtained paying gigs.

Jeff describes the island as one of the easiest places to live in all of history and said, “The music scene in Key West is continuously improving. It’s not about being super competitive here, it’s just about having fun.”

For the past decade, Jeff’s performances have been an essential part of the Key West music scene. From sunset sails, to the pulse of the nightlife, you don’t have to go far to find him. His smooth smoky voice and funky grooves will keep you entertained all night long.

Jeff hosts Ukulele night on the first Wednesday of every month at The Green Parrot from 8-11 p.m. You can also catch him Thursday’s at Sloppy Joe’s from 12-4:45 p.m. and every other Monday at Virgilio’s from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
