#News: Netflix announces name and teaser for Islamorada based TV show

It was one year ago when Hollywood’s “go-to” trade website, Deadline, announced that Netflix had ordered a 13 episode run from  Damages creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler. Since that time, upper Keys residents have been excited (and honestly sometimes frustrated) with filming at some of their favorite locations. Islamorada, Tavernier, and Key Largo have also been decorated with yellow signs reading “Untitled KZK” project. (See the creators? Kessler, Zelman, and Kessler a.k.a. KZK.) Regardless of your opinion of the project, there has been an overwhelming amount of curiosity surrounding it (including obviously the show’s name).

This afternoon, the name “Bloodline” was released, in addition with a formal announcement of the cast (also available on their IMDB page). “Bloodline” is the first partnership between Netflix and Sony Pictures Television. While the teaser doesn’t reveal much, it will be available on Netflix for binge viewing in March 2015.

Enjoy!
