Whether you’re hungry for a lunch bite, happy hour munchies or a sit-down dinner, you can find it at Sparky’s Landing.

What could be better than enjoying a weekend morning with brunch and mimosas by the water?

Buy one, get one free mimosas. That’s what.

Sparky’s recently started serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring unique dishes like guava French toast and crab benedict.

Or try a chorizo breakfast burrito.

Owners Matt and Carolyn Anthony have been getting in the groove at their new location behind the Holiday Inn Express at mile marker 53.5.

Matt said the menu will change a bit throughout the summer but still has several original favorites, like Cajun pasta. It has tomatoes, mushrooms and green onion in a light cream sauce with blackened chicken, fish or shrimp.

The fish tacos are loaded with buttermilk-battered fried mahi mahi, pickled red onion, tomatillo sauce, cabbage and cilantro lime sauce.

The Anthonys drew from their restaurant experience, travels and general love of food to create a diverse menu, which jumps from shrimp and bacon pizza to the unique freuben. It’s fried fish with cole slaw and Swiss on toasted rye.

“There is something to satisfy everyone,” Matt said.

Sparky’s moved to its new spot after Hurricane Irma destroyed the former restaurant on Sadowski Causeway, where it had been since 2006.

“I’m looking forward to working with the hotel in the future, but right now the first year is us just getting it all together,” Matt said.

Sparky’s is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily with happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m.
