The Marker Resort has a refreshing poolside bar that serves up thirst-quenching cocktails, perfect for those warm summer days.
The outdoor bar’s counter features jars of fresh strawberries, blueberries and mint leaves — essential ingredients in many of the signature drinks. Mixologist Renars greets guests with a smile and mixes up a crowd favorite, Hibiscus Mango Mojito—Key West Legal Rum, hibiscus, mango, lime and mint. It has all the flavors of a cool, fruity, tropical drink accompanied by the gentle warming sensation we attribute to the rum.
Renars also makes a mean Blueberry Vo-Hito— Stoli Blueberry, fresh mint, fresh lemon muddled with blueberries, simple syrup and club soda. The sweet aroma from the muddled blueberries makes the drink taste better.
Of course, the bar serves the Key Lime martini and all the popular libations. But what really sets the bar apart from others is their list of non-alcoholic drinks: from the Unbellini made with mango puree, simple syrup and soda to the Cookies N’ Cream shake made with ice cream, crushed cookies and chocolate syrup.
The Marker Resort is located at 200 William St., Key West, and happy hour is from 4 to 6 p.m. with $2 off most drinks.
