Brothers Gary Noe and Kevin Piper work the booth at Looe Key Tiki Bar to raise awareness about safety when diving.

The Kevin Piper Jr. Memorial Fund was established in the summer of 2011 to solidify the life and legacy of friend, son and brother Kevin Piper Jr. Through events and fundraisers, the organization’s mission is to establish a local hyperbaric facility, educate the dive community and create a memorial scholarship fund.

“Nobody is finer than the community we have in the Keys. Their generosity never seizes to amaze me,” said Kevin Piper Jr.’s uncle, Gary Noe.

People can donate to the cause and buy merchandise at theKevinpiperjrmemorialfund.com. They also have a Facebook link on the site. The non-profit group will also have a booth set up at Fantasy Fest at Caroline and Duval Street on Saturday from 10 a.m. until midnight.
