Sheriff celebrates superior officers

Recently, the Monroe County Sheriff’s office held a special award ceremony honoring five officers who’s work in the last year has gone above and beyond the call of duty and service. Those officers honored are Deputy Sheriff Linda Mixon, Detention Deputy Victor Arguello, Support Officer Jo Socha, Reserve Officer Robert Smith, and Explorer/Cadet Amberlyn Casas. The ceremony was hosted by Centennial Bank. “It is truly an honor to be part of this show of appreciation and recognition for these officers,” said bank officer Stephanie Scuderi.
