Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) Frances Strauss can now be found at Chapman & Cardwell Capital Management in Marathon.

A Marathon resident for the past 18 years, Strauss was a bookkeeper and office manager for a local CPA firm before she joined Raymond James & Associates as a Financial Advisor in 2006.

“She’s a talented advisor who’s been active in the community for many years,” said principal Peter Chapman. “She has a good reputation, and she will be a great addition to the firm.”

Strauss currently holds a Series 7 General Securities License, a Series 66 State Securities License and Insurance license. She’s also served as the Past Treasurer of the Marathon chapter of Business and Professional Women (BPW) as well as public policy, finance and audit committees as well as the board of KAIR.

Of the career change, Strauss said Chapman & Cardwell is team-oriented, and she’s eager to be involved with the collaborative approach.

“With three other advisors, this will enhance my business with my clients,” Strauss said. “As an independent firm, there is a more open platform with more investment options available. So, my business will continue to evolve.”

Offering a wide range of investment alternatives and services, Strauss will concentrate on investment portfolios tailored to individual needs. Chapman and Cardwell Capital Management offers a comprehensive line of investment alternatives, which include stocks, closed-end funds, bonds, mutual funds, annuities and IRAs.
