Everdew water made in the Keys
Catching water vapor straight from Florida Keys’ skies, Everdew water can’t get any more pure, or any more homegrown. Founders Maria Ershova and Duane Orridge, Big Pine Key residents for the past four years, came up with the idea brainstorming with business and engineering backgrounds. “There isn’t a lot of manufacturing down here, so we are pretty lucky to produce here,” said Orridge. The two traveled the world before settling in the Keys, surmising that this climate was most perfect their water production.
“Compared to other bottled water brands on the market, Everdew is proud that it originates from the cleanest eco-source of water available in the world, the sky” said Ershova, who lives an active lifestyle and knows hydration is essential to her wellbeing. “No chloride, fluoride, or sodium makes any appearance in our water.”
According to the business partners, most bottle water comes from the ground or faucet water, which is then filtered after drilling holes into underground aquifers. The water is purified from seeping through ground layers and then filtered. Everdew’s water making process is simple – warm, humid air and a cool, clean environment. Water is pulled from the environment’ its by-product is fresh air. “The Keys are perfect for this – a Caribbean climate, clear skies and sweeping sunsets – the best ingredients for our water,” said Ershova.
Everdew has crucial electrolytes and essential minerals added. “We stay healthy when our cells are mineralized well and oxygenated,” Ershova said.
Jenny Sullivan, owner of Cone Republic, an ice cream food truck located in Big Pine Key, sells Everdew at her shop. “It perfectly complements the holistic, local lifestyle I promote here,” she said, offering compotes and toppings made from organic fruits grown down the street at Grimal Grove. “Local is best.”
“We want to start a trend where people look at where their water is from, and the quality,” said Orridge. “We have a great local following, which is really cool.”
