Dunk the likes of Koler, Coldiron and Capt. Bryan

What better way to raise funds than dunking your county commissioner, sheriff’s captain, fire chief or school principal?

The Big Kahuna competition is underway to benefit The Good Health Clinic, and the Upper Keys Weekly’s Jim McCarthy is getting the fun started with a dunk tank fundraiser this Saturday during the 25th annual Gigantic Nautical Flea Market presented by Richard C. Fox Plumbing.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., stop over by the beach and dunk community leaders, public officials and the Keys Weekly team of Jason Koler, publisher, and Nola Acker, account representative. Just $1 will get you one throw; $5 for three tosses and $20 to walk up and hit the button (100% dump rate).

Raffle tickets will also be available for a Retrospec 3-speed bike from All Keys Cycle, with proceeds supporting the Kahuna run. Also, tickets for an air brush painting will also be available.

The Weekly will once again be running a business card section in the paper with all proceeds going to The Good Health Clinic. For $50, place your business card in the business card section and support the cause. Contact Acker at nola@keysweekly.com or 305-916-8373.

For more info, visit Kahuna Jim’s Facebook page, email at jim@keysweekly.com or call 305-850-8034.
