The Key Lime Pirates — Claire Finley and Jeff Clark — specialize in bringing top-notch entertainment featuring local musicians who possess the quirkiness and individuality that Key West is famous for.  The band plays Monday, May 25, at 9:30 p.m. at Virgillio’s and Tuesday, May 26, at 9 p.m. at the Smokin’ Tuna Saloon in Key West.

With a love of music and sense of adventure, Claire Finley launched herself from Iowa to Boston in 2004.  She is a 2009 graduate of Boston’s famed Berklee College of Music with a dual major in electric bass performance and music business management.  A classically trained competitive pianist since age four, and an electric bassist from age 12, she lives and breathes her craft.  Claire invested 10 years in New England working as a bass player, vocalist and keyboardist for Boston’s top award-winning wedding bands — along with many other musical pursuits.  A musical collaboration with Jeff Clark inspired Claire to provide “big city” entertainment to the Florida Keys.

Jeff Clark is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from Pennsylvania.  He became a Conch Republic resident several years ago and today is one of the most featured and favored singer/songwriters in Key West.  Jeff’s original music encompasses the tropical vibe of the Keys. It’s fun to see Jeff hosting ukulele night at the famous Green Parrot!  Out on the water, he’ll most likely be kite boarding.
