A competitive, fall co-ed kickball season at Islamorada’s Founders Park came to a close on Nov. 16 with the team Cops & Lagers crowned the champs. The team, co-captained by Stephanie Harper and Chandler Day, went undefeated during the season, beating Bad News Ballers in the championship game by a score 4-3. The league was composed of six teams and overseen by David Nero, recreation program leader for Islamorada Parks & Recreation Department. Herb Tiedemann and Nero served as umpire of games.
