Flowers representing 69 homeless men and women who have died in the Florida Keys this year float atop the ocean just off Old Settler’s Park in Tavernier on Dec. 21. Members of the upper Keys inter-faith community, led by Rev. Pam Feeser of Living Springs Counseling, held their yearly memorial to remember them. This year marks the 11th year and of the 69, eleven were veterans. At back is Tavernier Key.
