A man and woman were arrested on Aug. 22 after Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies say they were having sex at a gas station in Marathon.
Deputies say 60-year-old Vincent Edwards Crews, of Marathon, and Sharon Helen Czaplinsky, 45, of Clearwater, were handcuffed and charged for engaging in a sexual act in public view at 8 p.m. at a Tom Thumb gas station car wash on the 5500 block of the Overseas Highway. Deputies said both appeared to be intoxicated and were taken to jail.
Crews was charged with unnatural and lascivious acts and disorderly conduct. Czaplinsky was charged with indecent exposure, unnatural and lascivious acts, and disorderly conduct.
