At this annual, members-only event, the king and queen of the Mystick Krewe of Key West are announced and the group’s Golden Hanger is awarded for best jacket.

Proceeds from past events have benefited local children who could not afford their school lunches and assisted the Key West High School band buy new uniforms.

The Key West Wildlife Center was this year’s charity beneficiary.

Established in 2015, the nonprofit Mystick Krewe of Key West embraces the long-standing traditions of Mardi Gras krewes in New Orleans by focusing on service to the community through a variety of annual fundraising events that directly benefit local interests and charities.
