Auction benefits AIDS Help
It’s a Beatles song and a classic 80s movie, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” but on Saturday, Sept. 17 upstairs at The Waterfront Brewery, there is a chance that you CAN actually buy love, and most importantly support the nonprofit AIDS Help, which offers support to 340 clients throughout the Keys. Support with things like lifesaving medications, and housing assistance, as well as preventive education.
Emceed by the funny Jason Koler and Britt Myers of The Weekly Newspapers, the Brewery graciously loaned the space with a cash bar for the auction. Doors open at 6 p.m. to meet some of the dates, with the auction stating at 7 p.m. Live music by Jared.
Each person up for auction is offering unforgettable date packages along with their charming personalities and beauty. $5 to come, watch or bid. The date packages are for two or sometimes more (so bring friends to bid on some group dates!), and some can be bought and used without a the bought date, if wanted 🙂
