A reimagined Hawks Cay Marina reopened with a chock-full weekend, welcoming the public for three days of celebration from dawn to dusk Dec. 12-14. Beginning on Friday night, the fully-refreshed waterfront welcomed 17 glowing vessels in the Duck Key Fishing Club’s annual boat parade, followed by a “Party on the Promenade” and live music on a floating stage from the Homebred Band.
A visit from Santa at Angler and Ale highlighted Saturday morning, while vendors braved the rain for an evening showcase. A fireworks show capped off a marina dedication and ribbon cutting, along with chances to meet the crews from the Qualified Captain and the Saltwater Experience.
Competitors took to the courts on Sunday for a holiday pickleball tournament, while others had a more relaxed morning with celebrity chef Jeremy Ford for a brunch experience at the resort’s farm-to-table restaurant Salt and Ash.
