Bella Villalba
Senior, Coral Shores
Volleyball

“Bella came out ready to play. She showed determination and heart from start to finish.” – Sam Ovalle, Hurricane head coach.

Coral Shores senior Bella Villalba delivered a pair of solid performances for the Hurricanes last week, contributing on both offense and defense. Against Key West on Sept. 9, Villalba registered two aces and four digs. She followed that performance the next night against Silver Palms with two aces, four kills, an assist, a block and two digs. A senior leader for the Hurricanes, Villalba brings experience, determination and a competitive drive to the court, setting the tone for her teammates with her effort and willingness to contribute wherever she is needed. For her unyielding efforts and team-first attitude, Coral Shores’ Bella Villalba is the Keys Weekly Athlete of the Week.
