The second Best of Upper Keys not only crowned 65 winners at its Nov. 11 ceremony at Whale Harbor Restaurants & Marina in Islamorada, but it also raised significant dollars for the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter. On. Dec. 7, sponsors of the event visited the shelter in Tavernier to deliver a $26,350 check to Ben Kemmer, executive director, and staff. Event sponsors included First Horizon Bank, Baptist Health Mariners Hospital, Dr. Michelle, audiologist, Going Aire, HNO Productions, Overseas Media Group and Artisan Group Builders. CONTRIBUTED
