On Friday, March 20, Governor Ron DeSantis issued a new order: all restaurants and food establishments must suspend dine-in options throughout the state. This follows the directive signed days ago by officials in Key West. Restaurants can continue to offer takeout and delivery … in addition to alcohol.

The governor lifted the restriction that prohibits restaurants from selling package sales of alcohol for take-out or delivery. Again, the consumption must be off the premises and buyers must present ID.

At the same time, the governor closed all gyms and fitness centers in the state.

The state Department of Business and Professional Regulation is the enforcing agency of these directives.
