The ‘Circle of Fire’ has a new home. Daashia Cochran will be overseeing the workouts in the former laundromat at 60th street, gulfside, in Marathon.

Daashia Cochran has found a new home for her Phoenix Rising wellness center. Best known for the “Circle of Fire” workouts formerly held at the Marathon Community Park, the sweating will now take place at 60th Street in the former laundromat that has been converted for its new use.

The workouts will resume starting Monday, Oct. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. Participants can join the circle at any time, moving from station to station on a signal for a total body workout.

“With the new space, I’ve been able to add some extra equipment like the chin up bar and I am going to put up my suspension trainer,” Daashia said.

In addition, the center will be offering yoga on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m., taught by Sandra Hastings of Yoga on the Sea.

Daashia said she will add more classes, too, depending on what the community asks for.

“I’d like to offer some meditation classes and maybe bring in some health and wellness speakers,” she said.
