The Rotary Club of Key West and the Perry Hotel & Marina present the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade of Stock Island on Friday, Dec. 8 starting at 5:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Perry Hotel on Stock Island.
This event will be family-friendly with games, activities and treats for the children. Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and the elves will come all the way from the North Pole. There will also be a surprise appearance by the Grinch.
Photo opportunities will be available.
The main event will begin at 7 p.m. with the start of the parade. Entry is free with cash prizes awarded in three categories — Best Overall wins $1,000; Best Boat Under 30 feet wins $500 and Best Boat Over 30 feet wins $500.
The event will also include some surprise giveaways.
