With the start of school just around the corner (Already? How did that happen?), the Marathon Youth Club hosted a registration night on July 25 for its upcoming fall flag football and soccer seasons. With fields open for kids to practice and get a little play time in ahead of the season, the club provided free food and snow cones for all, paired with drinks donated by Selevel General Contracting and cookies donated by Sweet Savannah’s.

For those who missed the event, registration is still open until Friday, July 30. Clinics and practices start in August. Soccer will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays with games on Friday nights, while Start Smart soccer for younger age groups will be held on Saturdays. Flag football will take the field on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
