South Florida track and field athletes gathered as the Marathon Dolphins hosted a meet with Matter Lakes Academy, True North Academy, Somerset Academy and Archimedean Academy on March 16. Though the overall meet was unscored, Marathon athletes dominated individual events, turning in 24 first-place finishes and a new school record of 90 feet, 9 inches set by Kymani Dixon in the boys’ discus throw.

“The kids had a solid second home race of the season,” said coach James Murphy. “Our throwing and jumping keep improving each week, which is great to see.”
