Thousands of lights on Pigeon Key cut through the rain on Nov. 13 to bring back the second annual Pigeon Key Holiday Spectacular. Even in the wet conditions, the “snow” in the forecast held true for the island, transformed into the best North Pole version of itself. Santa Claus and his elves paid a visit to the island-wide holiday village as kids explored touch tanks, shark feedings, face painting and cookie decorating tutorials. A VIP dinner and gathering the previous evening welcomed sponsors and dignitaries to one of the largest and fastest-growing holiday events in the Middle Keys.
