IN PICTURES: PRODIGY DANCE CENTER’S SPRING SHOWCASE ENDS WITH SENIOR SENDOFF

Students from Prodigy Dance Center brought their ballet shoes – and an overload of cuteness – to the Marathon High School Performing Arts Center stage on May 9 for their spring showcase, “Lights, Camera, Action!” Toting a plethora of costumes, dancers entertained family and friends with nearly 30 acts, closing with a special teacher-student farewell duet for longtime dancer, choreographer and MHS senior Savannah Garcia.

“As our first Prodigy graduate, Savannah holds an incredibly special place in all our hearts,” said Prodigy co-owners Maria Banks and Lisa Scobba. “We are extremely proud of her hard work and dedication in both her education as a dancer.”
