A 35-year-old Mukwonago, Wisconsin man wanted by federal authorities for kidnapping a 13-year-old girl in South Carolina was arrested by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in a Key Largo parking lot on Feb. 13.
The sheriff’s office received information that Tyler Michael Berlick may be en route to Monroe County, Florida. He and the juvenile were located in a Dodge Ram pickup truck at the Pink Plaza shopping center parking lot at 3:24 a.m.
The Florida Department of Children and Families was notified. The FBI is the primary investigative agency in this case.
