The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office K9 Deja will retire this week after 10 years of service. Deja will pass the torch to newly hired K9 Coral.
Deja has served her community with honor and distinction and may now look back on her career proudly. Although she’s retiring, K9 Deja will stay with her longtime handler from the sheriff’s office.
“K9 Coral has some huge paws to fill, but we are confident she is up for the challenge,” said Sheriff Rick Ramsay.
