Celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month this September with Monroe County Public Libraries.

The library is inviting everyone to discover the incredible resources and opportunities available at local libraries by signing up for a library card. Whether you’re looking to enhance your skills, find valuable information or connect with fellow avid readers, a library card unlocks a world of possibilities.

Today’s libraries are vibrant community centers offering much more than just books. At Key Largo branch library and the county’s other four branches, you’ll find diverse programs, job search assistance, homework help, book clubs, author talks, story times and more.

Curious about exploring a new hobby or learning a new (coding) language? Come to an Adult Craft program, access Fiero Code or LinkedIn Learning from home with your library card. Interested in starting or growing a small business? Attend one of the workshops presented by the Small Business Development Center, and Legal Services of Miami & the Florida Keys.

Did you know that Key Largo library offers ukuleles, Wonderbooks and tablets preloaded with educational content for checkout? There’s truly something for everyone at Key Largo branch library. Getting a library card is easy and is an essential step toward academic success and lifelong learning for students and adults. Everyone should have one. Participate in the Library Bookmark Contest and Poems for Peace Contest during the month of September too. We will also raffle off two gift baskets at the end of the month. Visit the Key Largo Branch Library to learn more.
