Here at the Keys Weekly, we take immense pride in working with the most talented photographers and graphic designers around, both on our staff and in the community.
The cover of each Weekly edition is the window to our stories – its job is to draw readers’ eyes and make them want to reach inside those red newspaper boxes all over town and check out a truly local newspaper.
In the Key West office, we often say our graphic designer Irene de Bruijn’s computer mouse is a magic wand with which she transforms a bunch of words, graphics and photos into an actual and eye-catching design.
We couldn’t do what we do without her. And here’s a look back through some of our favorite covers of 2023.
