The idea originated from a Facebook post by Kimberly Gray, and thanks to local businesses like All Things Graphic in Key Largo, the banners were designed and printed. Each banner showcases four seniors, with two on each side. They were hung by the Florida Keys Electric Cooperative on May 13. The banners appear from Tavernier Creek Bridge to Mangrove Mike’s Cafe. Owner Mike Forster’s nonprofit Mangrove Mike’s Endeavors paid for the banners. Pictured front left are Kimberly Gray and Anna Richards.
