We thank our future leaders and the CSHS Athletic Department for allowing us to share a little “Hurricane Pride.”
LUCIA RODRIGUEZ
A three-sport athlete in varsity basketball, cross country and track, Rodriguez said her experiences have taught her to work hard and never settle. A captain of the basketball and cross country teams, Rodriguez’s accomplishments include being a three-time MVP and an offensive player of the year in basketball. Her favorite sport is basketball, having played since 8 years old. Her memorable moment was during the senior night basketball game when she scored her 1,000th point. Rodriguez plans to attend a four-year college to major in a science-related field. Her advice to younger student-athletes? “Always work hard to reach your goals and enjoy every moment because these four years fly by,” she said.
