“One Weekend Only” takes the stage in Marathon on Friday and Saturday, March 23-24. Tap dancing in the rain? Check. Funny Easter Bunny? Check. Ladies singing about “Bugle Boys?” Also, check.

Marathon Community Theatre’s annual fundraiser features skits, dancing and song plus an Ed Sullivan-style emcee, Brian Witte.

In 2018, MCT has put on four stage readings and plans to bring back “Rumors” for one more weekend. In May, the theater will mount its first full production, “Escanaba in the Moonlight,” about “Yoopers” on a hunting trip.

Tickets to “One Weekend Only” are $45 and include appetizers plus a cash wine and beer bar. Curtain is at 8 p.m. For more details, call 305-743-0994 or visit marathontheater.org.
