Every year, the Marathon Fire Rescue gives Santa a ride through town. This year, the trip has been split into two days — Grassy Key on Tuesday, Dec. 23 and Marathon on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Santa distributes candy, so don’t miss this.
Grassy Key (Tuesday, Dec. 23)
- 6 p.m.: Pelican RV park
- 6:15 p.m.: Intersection of Guava and Morton
- 6:25 p.m.: Intersection of Kyle and Morton
- 6:35 p.m.: Curry Hammock State Park
- 7 p.m.: U.S.1 down Coco Plum Drive and back.
Marathon stops (Wednesday, Dec. 24)
- 6 p.m.: Departing Station No. 14
- 6:10 p.m.: Key Colony Beach City Hall
- 6:30 p.m.: Bealls parking lot, 109th Street and U.S.1
- 7 p.m.: Intersection of Shark and Harbor Drive
- 7:20 p.m.: Keys RV Park
- 7:30 p.m.: Winn Dixie and Kmart Plaza
- 7:45 p.m.: 41st and Louisa streets
- 8 p.m.: Knights Key Campground
- 8:20 p.m.: Galway Bay
- 8:30 p.m.: U.S.1 and 15th Street
- 8:40 p.m.: Circle Sombrero Blvd. (no stop)
- 8:55 p.m.: Sombrero Blvd. down Sombrero Beach Road and back (no stop)
- 9:15 p.m.: Seagrape Apartments
