Hi friends! Reef the fox here with this week’s “Reef’s Report.” I hope all you mommas out there had a great Mother’s Day.
I caught a rat for my mom and woke her up at 2 a.m. screaming, showing off what I had caught. Coral tried to steal it from me. It was a battle of wills at that point. Then Coral ran under the desk and hid the rat under her wee body. That’s when mom got up, said something I didn’t quite understand, and took the rat away from both of us and went outside. Mom is a party pooper.
Mom was fundraising online to get Jasper fox his very own therapeutic laser machine. She said she just ended up ordering it because Jasper needs it, so that got here on Tuesday and I had to inspect the quality. For the money she spent it better be good.
Anyone else notice how it went from not so hot, to like, really hot? Like, literally from one day to the next. So now I and the other four foxes on my side of the house spend our days inside mom’s room, with the AC on. I’m not sure what I would do without air conditioning, to be honest. I was definitely born to be a house fox.
Mom wanted me to let you all know that Coral has her very own new design online in our “fox shop.” That’s where all the cool merchandise for purchase to support us. Coral is riding an alligator for this new one and while it’s adorable, the message is “Friends, Not Fashion.” That’s because we don’t think animals should be used for anything other than friendship. I hope you go and take a look.
This week there is a cool event happening on Friday, May 13. It is Coral Restoration Day at Rainbow Reef Dive Center. Join Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) Team Divers for an afternoon restoring our local coral reefs. Upon completion of the dive event, each person will receive a Project Aware Coral Conservation card in the mail. Call 305-451-7171 to reserve a spot.
Anywho, that’s all for this week. Don’t forget to head over to pawsitivebeginnings.org to check out our merchandise and shoot me an email if you’re bored at work this week, reef@pawsitivebeginnings.org
Until next time, Reef, over and out!
