FROM THE FAMOUS FOX: MEET ZANE THE COMFORT DOG

Hi friends! Reef the fox here with this week’s “Reef’s Report”.

My mom was away last weekend at a big event in Johnstown, Pennsylvania called Thunder at the Freight Station. Her good friend puts on the event every year, and this year they decided to donate a portion of the proceeds to the six foxes that call Key Largo home. How cool is that? I don’t have a total for you yet, but I will let you know when those numbers come in. I think mom should buy me something really amazing with the money, like a treehouse or something so I can be neighborhood watch fox.

I also found out mom visited another animal while she was there and bought that animal a toy. Who was this animal, you ask? Well, apparently he works for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and is the official comfort dog for the city. I guess that’s cool. But mom posting pictures of her and Zane online makes me sort of jealous, you know? Oh well. He has an important job so I guess he deserves a toy.

A fun event happening this Friday, July 1 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Key Largo Yoga is a Sound Bath and meditation. You can get tickets at keylargoyoga.com. I could probably benefit from some guided meditation since I’m always so high strung and screaming at anything that I don’t approve of. Wonder if they allow foxes at the event?

This Sunday, July 3 from noon to 5 p.m. is a Seafood Brew Fest at Key Largo Fisheries. They are advertising good food, good drinks and music. It doesn’t get much better than that, I don’t think.

Anywho, that’s all for this week. Check back next week for your favorite fox delivering your favorite news from Pawsitive Beginnings.

Check us out online at pawsitivebeginnings.org and don’t forget you can send me an email with any fox-related questions you may have. It’s been a while since I got fan mail. reef@pawsitivebeginnings.org

Until next time, Reef, over and out!
