The Guides Trust Foundation was presented with a check for $50,000 at the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust International Science Symposium Awards Banquet on Nov. 11. Accepting on behalf of the foundation was Mayor of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners, George Neugent, who received the check from representatives of the Ocean Reef Community Foundation, Ocean Reef Conservation Association, and Bonefish & Tarpon Trust. The Conservation Association and Bonefish & Tarpon Trust contributed $10,000 each. The Ocean Reef Community Foundation contributed $30,000.
