The Florida Keys History and Discovery Foundation put on its fifth annual signature event, “A Havana Night at the Museum,” with title sponsor Islamorada Brewery & Distillery. Held on Nov. 13 at Keys History & Discovery Center and outside on the Islander Resort Conference Center’s Tarpon Terrace, guests gathered to visit 1940s Havana with its heyday as “America’s Playground.” Guests enjoyed casino tables, a game of dominoes, some cocktails, an elegant dinner and opportunities to bid on items. The night supported the foundation, which operates the Keys History & Discovery Center.
