From face painting and pumpkins to bounce houses and pies, fall festivities were in full swing at Ocean Studies Charter School in Key Largo on Oct. 9. Parents and teachers organized a fun-filled event for students and their families to enjoy. Car trunks were decorated in Halloween and fall themes, and some even had games for children to enjoy. A dunk tank allowed students to dunk their teachers, while judges dipped into desserts to crown the best pie. “This turned out better than we thought,” said Saida Cruz, parent of three and president of the school’s parent-teacher association. “We definitely will do this again next year.”
